U.S. Air Force General Linked to UFO Secrets Disappears
The United States intelligence community is facing a climate of concern following the mysterious disappearance of William Neil McCasland, a retired U.S. Air Force major general who, according to experts and investigative journalists, had access to some of the most sensitive programs related to advanced aerospace technologies — possibly even of non-human origin.
CONTINUA DEPOIS DA PUBLICIDADEMcCasland disappeared on February 27 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The 68-year-old retired officer left his home for a routine walk but left behind his cellphone and watch — something considered highly unusual for someone with a disciplined military background. Since then, there has been no sign of his whereabouts.
During his career, McCasland held strategic positions within the U.S. Air Force. Among them, he served as head of research at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, an installation frequently cited in accounts by former officers and researchers as one of the locations where materials recovered from the famous Roswell incident were allegedly stored.
This connection led to his name appearing several times in discussions about classified programs involving the reverse engineering of advanced technologies.
CONTINUA DEPOIS DA PUBLICIDADEInvestigative journalist Ross Coulthart, known for his reporting on unidentified aerial phenomena, described the disappearance as a “serious national security crisis.”
According to Coulthart:
“We’re talking about a man who had some of the United States’ most sensitive secrets in his head.”

Although the initial search efforts are being led by the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office, the FBI quickly joined the investigation — a move that underscores the seriousness of the case.
Search teams are using drones, tracking dogs, and helicopters to scan the Sandia Mountains near Albuquerque. So far, no concrete trace of McCasland has been found.
The possibility of criminal interference or a disappearance connected to sensitive information is being considered by analysts, although no hypothesis has been officially confirmed.
CONTINUA DEPOIS DA PUBLICIDADEMcCasland’s disappearance comes at a particularly delicate moment in Washington. The U.S. Congress is intensely debating the declassification of documents related to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) — the official term used by the government for what are popularly known as UFOs.
Recently, Congressman Eric Burlison said he received serious threats after attempting to gain access to classified information about these programs. Burlison stated that he believes there is strong resistance within the military-industrial complex to prevent details from becoming public.
Despite the theories circulating among researchers and security experts, the general’s family is urging caution.
CONTINUA DEPOIS DA PUBLICIDADEHis wife, Susan McCasland, wrote on her Facebook page that she does not believe the disappearance is connected to a kidnapping linked to state secrets. According to her, it may be related to a possible health issue — a possibility that led authorities to issue a “Silver Alert,” a notification used in the United States to help locate missing elderly individuals.

Even so, the general’s professional background continues to fuel speculation. McCasland:
- Was mentioned in emails released by WikiLeaks as a consultant on matters related to UFOs.
- Collaborated with Tom DeLonge, founder of the To The Stars Academy, an organization dedicated to publicizing research on advanced aerospace technology.
- Managed scientific and technological programs with budgets exceeding $2.2 billion.
Given this background, analysts raise two questions that remain unanswered:
Did a brilliant military scientist simply get lost in the desert of New Mexico — or did someone attempt to silence one of the people who knew the most about the Pentagon’s technological secrets?
The search continues, but so far the authorities’ official silence has only deepened the mystery surrounding the case.
