Congressman says he received threats for investigating UFOs and military secrets
Republican Congressman Eric Burlison of the United States revealed that he received a serious warning while deepening his investigations into the so-called Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs) — the term currently used by the U.S. government to refer to traditional UFOs.
CONTINUA DEPOIS DA PUBLICIDADEAccording to the congressman, individuals with experience in Special Forces and in the intelligence community warned that his physical safety could be at risk because of his investigations.
The revelation came during an online question-and-answer session held with filmmaker James Fox and investigative journalist Leslie Kean, both known for their work on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena.
During the discussion, Burlison described a conversation that illustrates the level of internal resistance faced by those attempting to bring transparency to federal documents related to the subject.
CONTINUA DEPOIS DA PUBLICIDADEAccording to him, the warning he received was clear:
You need to remove those two names from your list and never mention them again. They would have no problem having you killed.
The message was reportedly delivered by a source with deep ties within the United States intelligence sector.
CONTINUA DEPOIS DA PUBLICIDADEDespite the seriousness of the warning, the congressman says he does not intend to back down.
Burlison serves on the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, where he has been one of the most active voices demanding explanations from the Pentagon and intelligence agencies about possible technologies of unknown origin.
The lawmaker is part of a growing group of American politicians pushing for greater transparency regarding government files related to UAPs.
CONTINUA DEPOIS DA PUBLICIDADEThe congressman also said that the political climate in Washington may be changing.
According to Burlison, former President Donald Trump’s stance in favor of releasing UFO-related files may have encouraged potential whistleblowers within intelligence agencies.
I spoke with people in the intelligence community, and it gave them permission to do what they have always wanted to do on this subject, the congressman said in an interview with journalist Matt Laslo.

In his view, the flow of information on the subject is increasing, and new revelations may occur soon.
One of the points that drew the most attention in Burlison’s statements was the mention of “two names” in particular that should be removed from any investigation.
The identity of these individuals — or possible secret programs — was not revealed.
CONTINUA DEPOIS DA PUBLICIDADEThe episode has raised speculation that certain sectors of the government may be trying to protect individuals or highly sensitive projects related to the phenomenon.
Burlison’s case is not isolated, but it stands out for the clarity of the threats reportedly described by an elected representative.
In recent years, a bipartisan coalition in the United States Congress has been pushing for the release of classified documents, arguing that decades of government secrecy have prevented the public from knowing the true extent of what authorities know about UAPs.
CONTINUA DEPOIS DA PUBLICIDADEWith the increase in investigations and the emergence of new whistleblowers, pressure to declassify these files is likely to grow even further.
