U.S. Vice President believes UFOs are demons.
The Vice President of the United States, J.D. Vance, surprised many by publicly revealing his interpretation of the so-called UFOs: in his view, these phenomena do not have an extraterrestrial origin, but a spiritual — and more specifically, demonic — one. The statement was made during an interview with journalist Benny Johnson and quickly gained traction on social media.

“I don’t believe they’re extraterrestrial. I believe they’re demons,” Vance told the journalist directly. His remark was prompted by news that the Trump administration was planning a major UFO-related announcement for July 2026. Johnson’s tweet about the interview gathered more than 17,000 likes and generated 2,000 replies within just a few hours.
A Christian view of the phenomenon
Vance explained that his position stems from a Christian understanding of the world. According to him, what many refer to as “aliens” would actually be celestial beings with dark intentions — possibly responsible for the abduction reports that have circulated for decades. To reinforce his point of view, he cited a phrase associated with Christian thought: “One of the devil’s greatest tricks is convincing people he never existed.”
Obsession with secret files
The vice president admitted that, since taking office, he has been intensely dedicated to reading government files on UFOs. Even while acknowledging that his immediate priorities are the economy and national security, Vance insisted he will use his top-level security access to investigate the subject thoroughly during the remaining three years of his term.

Going beyond words, the vice president promised to personally visit military facilities historically linked to the UFO mystery. “We’re going to go to Area 51. We’re going to go to New Mexico. We’re going to get to the bottom of this,” he said, also mentioning the legendary Hangar 18, located in the state of Ohio, as another destination in his upcoming investigation.
