Ross Coulthart Claims Trump Authorized the Capture of UAPs

Investigative journalist Ross Coulthart has claimed that President Trump authorized military operations to intercept and recover unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs) within the United States. The statement was made during the Reality Check program and cites information allegedly provided by high-level sources connected to the U.S. intelligence community.

According to Coulthart, the initiative was directed from the White House with the goal of determining the origin of these objects and gaining access to any technology associated with them. He stated that the president tasked Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth with investigating the cases and coordinating efforts to capture the artifacts. The operation reportedly also involved the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).

Sources cited by the journalist claim that interception operations took place in restricted areas, including the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. Coulthart’s report alleges that the U.S. military employed advanced systems, including directed-energy weapons and high-powered microwave technology, in an attempt to neutralize objects displaying characteristics commonly associated with UAPs.

Among those characteristics were instantaneous acceleration, extreme speeds, and the absence of visible propulsion systems. These behaviors correspond to a set of attributes known among researchers as the “Five Observables,” a concept frequently referenced in analyses of military cases involving unidentified anomalous phenomena.

The journalist also claimed that military personnel adopted unconventional methods to lure the objects into secure interception zones. Among the techniques mentioned were electromechanical signaling systems and procedures described as neuromeditative interaction. According to the report, these methods were originally developed by the private initiative Skywatcher during operations conducted in the Sierra Blanca region.

The allegations emerge amid ongoing debates within the intelligence community regarding the nature of the observed objects. According to Coulthart, some sources believe that at least a portion of the incidents could be linked to advanced technologies developed by foreign powers. Others consider the possibility that certain cases may involve origins that remain unidentified.

The release of this information has also reignited discussions about recent temporary airspace restrictions in parts of the southwestern United States. According to the journalist, information obtained from his sources offers an alternative interpretation to the official explanations previously provided for some of those incidents.
